The verification limit

We can request provider details and help customers compare written information, but we do not represent that a provider remains approved merely because it appears in a network or quote. Authority, insurance, vehicle assignment, and availability can change. The customer should verify the assigned operator using current official records before payment and whenever an assignment changes.

Five Checks Before Booking

Treat each check as a gate. If a provider cannot supply a clear answer in writing, pause the booking.

1

Identify the legal operator

Get the assigned provider legal name and any DBA, TCP number, USDOT number when applicable, phone number, and the name shown on the written agreement.

2

Check operating authority

Search the California Public Utilities Commission carrier records for California charter-party authority. For federally regulated service, also check the FMCSA Company Snapshot.

3

Confirm insurance status

Ask the assigned provider for current commercial insurance details and confirm that required filings are active. A logo, vehicle photo, or verbal statement is not proof.

4

Match the exact trip

Confirm the vehicle, legal passenger capacity, amenities, pickup plan, driver contact process, route, stops, timing, and replacement procedure in writing.

5

Review every payment term

The agreement should name the payee and explain deposit, final balance, fees, gratuity, overtime, cancellation, refund, damage, and rescheduling terms before payment.

If something goes wrong

  1. Contact the assigned transportation provider using the agreement and day-of dispatch information.
  2. Save the quote, agreement, receipts, messages, photos, and a timeline of the issue.
  3. Contact us at info@sandiegopartyride.com or (619) 354-1420 so we can document and route the concern; provider remedies remain governed by the written agreement and applicable law.

This page is a practical booking checklist, not legal advice. Official records and the signed provider agreement control.
